OTTAWA — The Ottawa City Commission elected Sara Caylor as mayor pro tem. She fill perform the largely ceremonial duties of mayor in the absence of Mayor Mike Skidmore. Caylor was named to fill the vacancy when Commissioner Shawn Dickinson, who was mayor pro tem, resigned his position. The city continues to accept applications from those who would like to fill Dickinson’s vacancy on the commission.
