OTTAWA — The Ottawa Walgreens Pharmacy, 1445 S. MAIN St. was evacuated Tuesday night after the building filled with smoke. Firefighters discovered a heating unit on top of the roof that had apparently seized up, causing the smoke, Ottawa Fire Chief Jeff Carner said. The power was turned off to the unit and the store reopened.
