QUENEMO — A Quenemo man was killed and K-68 was closed for three hours Saturday night after a one-vehicle accident just east of the Osage/Franklin county line. James Mietchen, 37; was traveling west on K-68 when his car left the road for an unknown reason, the Franklin County Sheriff’s office saids. His car then returned to the road and overturned, coming to rest on its top. Mietchen was the only person in the car and was killed in the crash. He was wearing a seatbelt, the sheriff’s office said. K-68 was closed while the crash was being investigated by the sheriff’s office.
