POMONA — The West Franklin school district won the Pomona City Council election Tuesday. All three people elected to the city council are officials or former school district officials. Only three people filed for the three open city council seats and there weren’t enough write-ins to change the outcome. The top vote-getter was retired USD 287 superintendent Dotson Bradbury, who received 72 votes. School district maintenance director Richard Adler received 71 votes and West Franklin High School principal Rick Smith received 66 votes.
