CENTROPOLIS — Two people were injured in an ATV accident north of Centropolis late Saturday night. Dalton Crim, 19, Ottawa; was driving north in the 4200 block of Iowa Terrace on an ATV when he lost control of it and it struck an embankment at the intersection of Iowa Terrace and Shawnee Road. Crim was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said. A passenger on the ATV, Christina Sandoz, was also injured and was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa. Damen Abbott, 19, Ottawa, was booked into the jail on suspicion of driving under the influence and minor in consumption in connection with the accident, the sheriff’s office said.
