OTTAWA–A new Juvenile Justice Bill has been signed into law by Kansas Governor Sam Brownback, and it has a local connection. State Representative Blaine Finch was a key sponsor, and he says the new law cuts down on the juveniles put in jail, especially for misdemeanor offenders.
