OTTAWA — Ottawa police received several reports of burglaries and thefts over the last week. On Tuesday, a 36-year-old Ottawa man reported the theft of an item from his property in the 1600 block of South Osage Drive. A 24-year-old Ottawa woman reported the theft of items from her vehicle parked in the 1200 block of South Main Street. An 81-year-old Ottawa man, reported a theft of an item belonging to him in the 1800 block South Elm Street. He told police he knew who the suspect was. A 27-year-old Ottawa woman reported Tuesday items were stolen from her vehicle at an unknown time and location. On Wednesday afternoon, an 18-year-old Ottawa woman reported her home in the 500 block of South Oak was burglarized and items were stolen.
