OTTAWA — A new thrift shop is coming to Ottawa. It’s Thriftopia LLC. Thriftopia plans to open sometime in October and will be located between the former Goodwill store and the Dollar General in the strip mall at 2210 S. Princeton Circle Dr. Organizers said they plan to be a different type of thrift shop by creating a welcoming atmosphere where people can come, not only to shop, but also to visit and socialize. The group plans to fill the void left when the Goodwill store abruptly closed in September. Thriftopia will work in association with COF Training Services.
