RANTOUL — A Rantoul was man was killed Saturday night in a one-vehicle crash southwest of Rantoul Saturday night. Ernesto Zamora, 34, was driving a 2003 Ford F-150 east in the 4200 block of John Brown Road when his pickup went off the right side of the road, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department said. Zamora over-corrected when he tried to get back onto the roadway, but but the pickup went across both lanes and went down an embankment on the left side of the road and overturned, the sheriff’s office said. He was thrown out. He was dead at the scene.
