GARNETT — The Garnett City Commission has started a community survey to allow the Garnett community an opportunity to provide input on the hiring criteria for a new city manager position. All city residents, business owners, and city employees are invited to participate in the survey. Commissioners will use the survey to select the criteria for a new city manager. City manager Joyce Martin has announced she’ll retire and will step down when the commissioners hire a new city manager. The survey is at www.surveymonkey.com/r/cityofgarnett.
