OTTAWA — A 40-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was injured when his pickup went off K-68 east of Ottawa Monday evening. James Turner was driving west on K-68 about four miles east of Ottawa when his pickup went onto the right gravel shoulder and he lost control, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The truck shot across both lanes and went into the south ditch and rolled over once. Turner was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital. The highway patrol said he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
