OSAWATOMIE — Some Osawatomie residents may experience low water pressure this morning. City public works crews will install a valve on the Carr Avenue water main in front of the municipal power and water plant beginning this morning at 8. The work is expected to last until about noon. Residents along Carr, Parker and Lincoln avenues between Seventh and Eighth streets may experience low water pressure, said city manager Don Cawby. Once the valve is installed, city crews will be able to more easily make repairs in the event of a leak or line break between the plant and Seventh Street without shutting down the water plant, he said.
