OTTAWA — Ottawa police continue to investigate a confrontation in the 1000 block of South Cypress Street in which one group of people were threatened with a firearm shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday. The group was confronted by another group carrying weapons, said assistant police chief Adam Weingartner. At one point, someone fired a gun in the air, he said. No one was apparently hit by the bullet but several people received minor injuries in the fight, he said.
