PARKER — Drivers from Garnett and Pleasanton were injured shortly after noon Saturday as a result of a crash at the end of a police chase. Kevin Gedrose, 28, Garnett; was fleeing from police and going east on 2400 Road in Linn County approximately three miles northwest of Parker, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. The highway patrol didn’t say why or who was chasing him or where the chase originated. Gedrose ran the stop sign at Devlin road and hit an SUV driven by 38-year-old Tanner Ogden, 38, Pleasanton, the highway patrol said. The crash spun Ogden’s 2014 Ford Explorer around and knocked it into a field. Gedrose’s car, a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant, also ended up in a field as a result of the impact. Ogden was taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Although Gedrose may have been injured, he refused being taken to a medical facility. They were both wearing seat belts.
