OSAWATOMIE – Three people have been arrested in connection to an aggravated robbery in Garnett last week, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation said. Shortly before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, a woman was seriously beaten and robbed at Papa’s Front Porch Antiques, 618 East 6th in Garnett. She was taken to the Anderson County Hospital for serious injuries sustained during the robbery, the KBI said. As a result of an investigation by the KBI, the Garnett Police Department, the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Osawatomie Police Department, Billy Joe Waters, 43, Osawatomie; Harold Stults, 36, Osawatomie; and Daniel Vannorman, 30, Garnett; were booked into the Anderson County Jail for suspicion of aggravated robbery. Vannorman was arrested in Garnett, and Waters and Stults were arrested at separate locations in Osawatomie, the KBI said. Each arrest took place without incident.
