GARNETT — Garnett has a new city manager. City commissioners have approved a contract with Girard city administrator Christopher Weiner. Weiner expects to begin about July 17. His salary will be $85,000 per year, plus other benefits. He succeeds Joyce Martin, who is retiring after 50 years as a city employee.
