CARBONDALE – Two Lyndon children were taken to a Topeka hospital as a result of a crash on U.S. 75 south of the U.S. 56 interchange Friday morning. Matthew, 42, Canon City, Col., had stopped to make a left turn when Whitney Decker, 27, Lyndon ran into the back of his Jeep, the Kansas Highway Patrol said. Her passengers, Tevin Decker, 2, and Cevin Decker, 4, were taken to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. The highway patrol said they were in safety restraints. The drivers weren’t injured.
