PAOLA — Seven people have been charged in Miami County District Court in the ATV death of a Baldwin City woman. Nichole Razo, 21, Parker; was charged with murder in the first degree in the commission of a felony, with the alternative of murder in the second degree, said Miami County Attorney Elizabeth Sweeney-Reeder. Razo’s bond has been set at $1 million. She has been accused of using an ATV to run over 23-year-old Heather Briggs in an isolated area a few miles west of Paola. Sweeney-Reeder said six other people have been charged with felony murder in her death: Curtis Cooley, 29, Osawatomie; Seth Herron, 25, Paola; April Lunsford, 36, Paola; Michael Pearce 27, Osawatomie; David Rhoades, 24, Osawatomie; and Kevin Stevens, 29 Osawatomie. Bond for each has been set at $1 million. The underlying felony in all of the cases is distribution of methamphetamines, Sweeney-Reeder said.
