OTTAWA — The new Proximity Park, being developed by the city of Ottawa and Franklin County south of Ottawa, is attracting attention, county economic development director James Oltman said. He told Franklin County commissioners Wednesday that he’s been working with eight potential businesses interested in moving to Ottawa. Those companies are interested in the new industrial park. Both the city and county have planned to begin building the “infrastructure” – utilities and improved roads beginning this fall.
