BURLINGTON — A 44-year-old Ashland pilot walked away from an emergency landing Saturday morning near Burlington. Andrew Reimer was flying a Thrush crop-dusting aircraft to Coffey County airport when the engine malfunctioned, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. He made an emergency landing near 12th and Kafir roads about one mile west of Burlington. The plane landed safely and Reimer wasn’t injured, the highway patrol said.
