HOUSTON — Now out of fuel, NASA’s Cassini spacecraft will make a fiery dive into Saturn’s atmosphere Friday afternoon. Cassini has orbited Saturn thousands of times for 13 years, almost perfectly collecting data and taking spectacular photos of the mysterious giant gas planet, its rings and Saturn’s moons. The unmanned space probe was launched in 1997 and reached Saturday nearly seven years later. The Huygens space lander detached from Cassini and landed on Saturn’s moon Titan.
