OTTAWA — Franklin County and three other counties (Osage, Coffey and Wabaunsee) in a proposed public health cooperative have received a $20,000 grant to study the proposal. County health director Midge Ransom told county commissioners Wednesday that the next step is to form a citizens’ committee to consider how to coordinate and share some basic public health services.
