OTTAWA — The woodchoppers will soon have a ball on the courthouse lawn. County administrator Derek Brown told county commissioners that arborists have inspected trees on the law and recommended that approximately 10 dying trees be removed and replaced with new trees. Removing the old trees will begin soon and arborists will recommend the best replacements, which should be planted next spring, Brown said.
