LAWRENCE — Three environmental groups will host an informational meeting next week about saltwater injection wells in Douglas County. The meeting will be 7 p.m. Monday at the Flory Building at the Douglas County fairgrounds in Lawrence, and is free and open to the public. The meeting will focus on wells near Baldwin City and planned wells near Eudora. The meeting is hosted by the Sierra Club, the Water Advocacy Team and the Lawrence Ecology Teams United on Sustainability.
