OTTAWA — Ottawa USD 290 officials notified Ottawa police of a possible threat made via social media Sunday. Police have been investigating and have been in contact with school officials, Ottawa High School principal David Morford told parents in an e-mail. Classes resumed today as normal, and school staff and police took steps to ensure the safety of students and teachers, Morford said.
