GARNETT — The Garnett City Commission has started televised live-streaming its regular meetings. The live-streaming and recorded broadcasts will be on the city’s Facebook page. The broadcasts should make it easier for more people to follow city proceedings, said city manager Christopher Weiner. He said he tried similar live-streams OF Girard City Council meetings while he was Girard city administrator. Those broadcasts averaged 20 to 25 viewers, he said.
