OTTAWA — The Franklin County Health Department is holding CPR classes.
Assistant county health director Robert Walker is now offering CPR, as well as first aid classes. “We want to see as many people in the community get updated with CPR,” said health director Midge Ransom. It’s great to see that high school students are now required beginning next school year to be certified in CPR to graduate, because studies show that students who have the training save lives, she said. The classes are on request and cost $30.
