The Marais Des Cygnes Extension Office has a new agent. Kathy Gould has taken over as the new Family and Consumer Science agent. She is not new to the office, as she has been the nutrition educator at the Paola office for several years and has lived in the Paola area for 30 years.
She says she wants to continue to grow and expand programs that are already in place as well as open up new areas interest.
She took over for long time agent Diane Burnett who recently retired.
