OTTAWA- if you have been thinking of touring Ottawa High School, it might be a while before you are able. At the school board meeting, Superintendent Doctor Ryan Cobbs says the entire building is a mess right now and there is no are that is accessible to teachers and staff at the moment. New cabinets and equipment is going in every day, but he says the school will be ready for opening day on August 16th.
Cobbs says the situation this year is no different than the past couple years in dealing with construction. It may take a few weeks in the school year and then all the headaches right now will be worth it once the projects are finished.
Ottawa school are scheduled to open on August 16th.
