The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has linked a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections to spring pasta salad purchased at Hy-Vee grocery stores.  Two dozen people from a five state area were affected by the outbreak.  If you have spring pasta salad purchased from Hy-Vee return it immediately or throw it away.   The spring pasta salad was sold in Kansas Hy-Vee stores before July 16th.  It was sold in one pound and three pound plastic containers and sold in Kansas, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Again, If you have any of the recalled pasta salad throw it away even if you have eaten it and not gotten sick.
