Last night was the opportunity for Ottawa neighborhoods to meet together during the National Night Out Against Crime. Nyra Broyles was at the get together on Rockwood Drive. She says sometimes it seems like there’s nobody around.
Broyles says Ottawa was the halfway point in relation to their jobs. She used to work in the Olathe school district but is now retired. Her husband still works at Wolf Creek Nuclear Power Plant in Burlington.
