An Ottawa woman has pled no contest to arson charges in Franklin County District Court. Alesha Buchanan was arrested in April in connection with two fires in Ottawa. The first destroyed a mobile home in the 600 block of Burrough Street in the early morning hours of April 5th. Four adjacent homes were damaged in the area. Later that morning, the Ottawa Fire Department responded to Sun Studio Tanning Salon where a fire was set. Buchanan was arrested after she left the business and was found walking nearby. With the no contest plea to aggravated arson, Buchanan will face sentencing on September 17th.
