The recent rains were helpful to the area soybean crop, but the rain was fairly localized. Frontier Extension Agent Darren Hibdon says those who got the rain are seeing some positive change, however, the corn crop is not doing well.
He adds that the soybeans are blooming and setting pods, but we are in need of some good soaking rains.
