What appeared to be a surprise upset in the Franklin County Commission race had remained so after the Commission canvassed the votes, former County Commissioner Don Stottlemire has edged out Incumbent Randall Renoud by two votes. Stottlemire says he always thought the race would be close.
Stottlemire says he wants to get state officials to come to County Commission meetings so they will understand what issues local government entities are dealing with.
