Developers of the Onward Ottawa project got what they wanted, some money from the Franklin County Commission to support the project. Ottawa Area Chamber President John Coen says he’s pleased with the 75 thousand dollar donation from the Transient Guest Tax, but he’s not pleased with some comments that came out of the Tourism Committee.
The Tourism Committee had recommended the 75 thousand dollar donation spread out over several years. The County Commission instead decided to give the money all at once.
