An Ottawa Police officer was involved in an injury accident yesterday morning at 15th and Willow Street. At about 10 yesterday morning an officer with the Ottawa Police Department notified Franklin County Emergency Communications that they had been involved in a traffic crash. The officer was transported by Franklin County EMS to Ransom Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The occupants of the other vehicle were not injured. The Ottawa Police want to thank the Ottawa Fire Department and the Franklin County Sherrif’s Office for assisting with the incident.
