Ottawa University has a new dean for the Angell Snyder School of Business. Dr. Lena Rodriguez has been appointed to the position. The school is the largest of the three schools in the university, including the school of arts and science and the school of education. Dr. Rodriguez will assume her new duties in mid-October but will maintain her office at the university’s new residential campus in, surprise, Arizona from which she will lead the business school, staff, and faculty at all university locations.
Before joining Ottawa, Dr. Rodriguez served in a joint appointment as the endowed Director of the Insititute of Philanthropy and as Interim Dean of the School of Business and Management for National University.
She is known to have a keen appreciation for innovation in experimental learning, in developing a strong community and corporate sponsorship, and participation to ensure that her students are always at the cutting edge of leadership and business practices.
