Franklin County Administrator and County Counselor Derek Brown can look forward to at least four more years in his position. The county commission approved renewing his contract during their regular meeting. Brown told the commission that with him as administrator for several years it might make hiring other county employees a little easier.
Brown will receive a base salary of almost 146 thousand dollars per year. That is the same salary he currently gets. He will also get an increase which was given to all county employees.
