At least four people were injured in three separate crashes in Franklin County yesterday. In the first 33-year-old Shanda Lamm was injured Monday morning when her vehicle, traveling eastbound in the 1500 block of Stafford Road left the roadway and struck a tree. She was transported to Ransom Memorial Hospital with what was described as a head injury.
The second crash occurred in the 1700 block of John Brown Road Monday afternoon. Vehicles driven by 57-year-old John Webber of Williamsburg and 20-year-old Micaleb Weatherbee were involved in a crash that resulted in injuries. No further details about this accident were available.
A third injury accident occurred Monday evening in the 2300 block of South Princeton Street. A car driven by 38-year-old Kerri Jung of Ottawa struck the rear of a truck driven by 77-year oldLex Gislar of Ottawa. Gislar then struck the rear of a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Sydney Meyer of Ottawa. Minor Injuries were reported, but all refused transport to the hospital. Jung was cited for following too close.
