The Meals on Wheels will continue as usual, but clients may notice a few changes in the coming weeks. Mid-America Nutrition had been running the program. However, now Franklin County United Way Executive Director Meg Hooper Pearson says funding and operations are being transferred to the East Central Kansas Area Agency and Aging.
Pearson informed the Franklin County Commission of the change during their regular commission meeting.
