Ever wonder what the storm water utility fee on your utility bill goes for? One project using those funds is about to get started. The city of Ottawa will start construction soon on improving storm water drainage in a specific part of town that is prone to street flooding.
City Manager Richard Nienstedt comments:
The project will address flooding issues along Ash street from 6th to 2nd. The road overlays are making the curbs along that section of Ash nearly non-existence.
