A Day On the Farm exposed Franklin County third graders to many areas of farming and agriculture from planting, production, animal care, and the importance of safety. One student, Joey Nichols, from Sunflower Elementary in Ottawa says he learned a lot.
The Day On the Farm is held every year at Sylvester Ranch and is designed to introduce students to the importance of agriculture in our society. FFA students from Wellsville, West Franklin, Central Heights, and Ottawa Helped teach the classes to students.
