Many people have worried that gas prices may shoot up as hurricane Florence made landfall on the east coast, but Kansas gas prices have stayed stable. Jennifer Haw is with Triple A Kansas:
The weather forecaster adds that this upcoming winter will be something to watch. Milder winters lead to more demand, which could lead to higher pries.
The state average as of Monday is $2.66 a gallon. Prices in Ottawa held steady this week at $2.59 a gallon.
