We have an update on the waterline replacement project and construction in Downtown Ottawa. This has to do with sidewalk access. As crews progress with the replacement of water mains along Main Street, contractors will begin replacement of water mains and pits. This will impact foot traffic on sidewalks at times with wither narrowing of the walks or temporary closure of some sections of sidewalks. The City of Ottawa appreciates the public’s patience and understanding as the project finishes up.
