Ottawa Middle School students have been involved in a program called project-based learning. The project the past few weeks has concentrated on teaching the students about the great community they live in. Students put together projects based on what they had learned. Ottawa middle school assistant principal Kyle Kost says:
The students held an open house, of sorts, recently where local officials came in and listened to a presentation from the students and were able to see all the projects and what the students had learned about Ottawa.
