The Ol’ Marias River Run was a success again this year. Over the Road Gang member, Don Stottlemire gave a report and thanked the Franklin County Commission this morning. The official car count was 1 thousand nine hundred and six cars, down from last year, but they were expecting that. He sats that the crowd on cruise night was more than in years past, estimated to be over 10 thousand people. He says the over the road gang do a lot locally that many people probably don’t know about, including giving money to charity
The one concern organizers of the show have is the public address system both in forest park and in the downtown area. He says the car club would like to work with the city to improve the system.
