There are certain properties that just won’t sell in Ottawa for one reason or another. One of those is “the Coves.” They are in north-east Ottawa and have sat vacant for a long time. The problem is that property is saddled with special assessments that any buyer would have to pay when buying the property. County Administrator Derek Brown says the city may have the answer.
He indicated that the next tax sale in the county may be in early November.
