The chip and seal projects on several Franklin County roads has seen some delays. Vance Brothers are the contractor for the projects, and company spokesman Perry Dunman says the delays are caused by the material they are using.
Dunman says the manufacturer of the hadite has been bought out by a large company, and he hopes future production is more timely.
