A big lotto win in Louisburg. A Kansas City woman won 10 thousand dollars on the 2 dollars Jumbo Bucks Instant ticket. Joann givens is a hospice nurse and was traveling from a patient’s home in Louisburg when she stopped to get a snack and she bought the ticket. She didn’t believe it at first and had the clerk check to see if she was seeing what she thought she saw and sure enough, it was a 10 thousand dollar winner.
Givens says it is a blessing. The winnings come at a great time for her family. Her husband had been off work due to an accident for quite some time and bills were starting to pile up. She says she will use the money to pay off some of that debt. The winning ticket was purchased at Caseys General Store at 501 West Amity in Louisburg.
