If you live or work in the northeast part of Ottawa, you might prepare to take an alternative route or spend an extra few minutes getting to your destination next week. There will be some detours through the north industrial area next week. The Burlington North East Santa Fe Railroad will be making improvements and repairs to the railroad crossing on North Davis Road starting Monday. A detour will be set up to guide traffic through the closure. The City of Ottawa has posted a map of the area and possible detours on their Facebook page. The same map is posted on the KOFO Facebook page. The repair work is scheduled to be completed by Saturday of next week.
